The anaerobic digestion industry has spent decades trying to modify the slow biological conditions inside the digester. Marginal gains, narrow operating envelopes, and high sensitivity to feedstock variation are the norm.

Vertogen takes a different approach. By optimizing pre-digestion conditions and producing acetate upstream, we make the entire process faster, more efficient, and dynamically controllable — without modifying the digester itself.
